Washington,DC (Feb. 2,2020)

My first adventure being Mrs. Schaeffer. We went to Washington,DC from Virginia beach. My husband drove 2.5 hrs to Franconia-Springfield Metro Station to Farragut West Station, DC for 45 minutes. It was like 8 train stations before we reached to DC, an 8 minutes walk to the Philippine Embassy DC. We stayed at the Beacon Hotel just across to the Philippine Embassy. It was short visit but it was fun strolling around DC. It’s just a walking distance to the Washington Monument & White House. We took an uber to the Arlington Cemetery where my husband’s mom’s grave is located.
